Jennifer has a special interest in working with adults who are experiencing a first episode of mental illness, believing that with early expert care and connection to all available supportive services, recovery and quality of life can be maximized. She is knowledgeable about Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and Refractory (or difficult to treat) Depression as well as anxiety disorders such as Social Anxiety, Hoarding Disorder, and Panic Disorder.

Jennifer also has a keen interest in working with clients to maximize their health across many dimensions (For example, physical health, social supports and relationships, intellectual growth) as all of these contribute directly to one's mental or psychological wellness.

Jennifer utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, with mostly Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, ACT, DBT and Supportive Therapy techniques. Her goal is to meet each client where they are in terms of their strengths and challenges and use an approach that best suits each client's unique personality, needs, and desired outcomes.

About the Practice

Located in the heart of Roland Park in Baltimore City, the office is fully ADA accessible. There is ample parking in the lot in behind the building, as well as free street parking. An office building in a residential neighborhood, the office is equally comfortable and professional. Located about 15 minutes south of I-695, it's easy to locate off Charles Street.
Jennifer meets with clients Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm. She offers her clients the flexibility to meet in the office, via teletherapy, out in the community, or in their homes, depending on what would work best for each clients' needs. Sometimes in-the-office talk therapy is best. Sometimes in home or in the community talking-and-doing therapy (in vivo) is a more effective option.

About Clinical Case Management Services

A practical addition to therapy

For some clients, therapy isn't enough. It can be challenging to manage one's mental health, while also scheduling and attending Doctor's appointments, prescription refills and reminders, communication between other providers and family members. Family members sometimes aren't equipped to handle the clinical aspects of coordinating care, and can be overburdened trying to manage their own lives and help their loved one.

For these situations, having clinical case management services integrated with therapy, provides the care needed with one provider. Jennifer enjoys blending therapy and relationship building with accomplishing tasks needed for health and wellbeing.
